Neil steps down as President of Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce
Adams Moore partner Neil Lancaster has stepped down as President of the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce after six years of serving in the role.
During that time, Neil has helped support local businesses through Chamber events and initiatives. Chambers of Commerce provide a significant leadership role in any community, offering a network of local business contacts with a common goal – becoming a real insights forum and a champion for local businesses and organisations.
Neil commented: “I’ve really enjoyed being involved with the local chamber as President for the last six years. It’s really helped me as an individual in a professional capacity, and Adams Moore as a member of the Chamber – accessing networking events and exhibitions. The value our Chamber membership provides is evident and whilst I’m stepping down as President, I will certainly continue to be an active Chamber member and an advocate for the benefits of doing so.
“I handed over the reigns to fellow local business owner James Blackman, of digital marketing agency Cocoon FX. I’m confident James will enjoy being in this role and be a valuable asset to the Chamber and its activities. I wish him all the best,” he added.
Some of the patrons of Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce include Drayton Manor Park & Zoo, Dains, Turkish Airlines and Staffordshire County Council. The organisation offers a variety of events throughout the year.
