With a solid foundation in financial services and a career spent navigating the ins and outs of financial advisors’ practices, I currently serve as Practice Manager at our accountancy firm — where I keep the operations running smoothly, the standards high, and the chaos to a minimum!

I hold a BA (Hons), MIAB & CertCII qualifications, and I am a member of the International Compliance Association (ICA). My role spans everything from compliance and client service to team support and strategic planning — all with an eye for detail and a strong cup of coffee close at hand.

I’m passionate about efficient systems, clear communication, and making sure the business runs like a well-oiled calculator. Whether it's keeping clients happy or making sure no deadline is missed, I’m here to ensure everything adds up — both literally and figuratively.

I have been working as accountant since 2014 in various sized local firms as well as a top 10 accountancy practice. In these roles I have gained vast experience in accounting and taxation.

I joined Adams Moore in 2022 initially as part of the accounts team completing year-end accounts, corporation tax return and self-assessments, whilst also looking after a portfolio of clients on our Finance 360+ service.

In 2024 I became the accounts manager. In this role I manage our fantastic team of accountants where I provide support so that our team can deliver excellent but also timely and efficient service to our many clients.

At Adams Moore, we offer a personal and proactive approach and aim to be a trusted business advisor, creating a strong relationship with our clients.

I have over twenty years’ experience in bookkeeping and VAT processing, which includes having run my own business. As a team we are passionate about the service we provide, attention to detail and accuracy.

I love taking on a new account that is a total mess and turning it into something that is correct and now runs smoothly.

On a personal front I love nothing more than long walks with my family and dog at National Trust sites…. and crisp sandwiches.

Experience & Qualifications: 28 years in a financial and customer service environment, 8 of those with Adams Moore. I am very proud to have a wonderful payroll team to work alongside with and strive to deliver exceptional service to our clients. Using my knowledge and experience to manage complex payrolls ensuring accuracy in a timely manner and offering support to my colleagues on a daily basis.

Loves: Annual leave to cram in as many holidays as possible!

Loathes: Working in an office when it’s sunny!

I dedicate my time to building trusted relationships with our clients, so I fully understand what it is they are looking to achieve, whether they are making big strategic decisions or dealing with day to day problems. I am committed to ensuring that our clients receive an exceptional service.

I qualified as an accountant in 1994 whilst working for local accountancy practices gaining extensive experience in accounting, audit and taxation.

I joined Adams Moore in 2011 on my return to the UK from 3 years working in an accountancy practice in New Zealand. Having always adopted the mantra “reliance not compliance” I have loved helping clients grow their ideas into flourishing, profitable businesses, whilst delivering the best possible compliance and advisory services.

At Adams Moore we understand that a personal approach, along with an ability to translate technical terms into easily understood language, really adds value. With a large client portfolio I do like to ensure that I cultivate strong working relationships with my individual clients and know their business, however large or small.
